Finding the correct cable is the most important thing in connecting the Astroberry and AZ-GTi
The first thing in how to connect Astroberry and AZ-Gti using a EQMOD cable is the right cable. I first bought this cable which probably works for all other Skywatcher mounts but the Skywatcher AZ-GTi uses different pin outs. The cable I bought wouldn’t connect on my Astroberry or Windows laptop. Then I found this cable specific to the Skywatcher AZ-GTi and my Windows laptop connected without issue using Skywatcher’s software. I forget what changes I had to make in the INDI settings but I believe I just had to adjust the baud rate down to 9600 and my rig has been stable since. WiFi between the mount and Astroberry would always lose connection when things when data started cranking.

- Make sure you switch your connection to Serial (Make sure it saves!)
- Set baud rate to 9600
